SW Teens Volunteer at Community Kitchen - Skagit Raises Great Kids

Sedro-Woolley Teens Volunteering for Community Dinner.

Eight Sedro-Woolley Teens volunteered at the Open Door Community Kitchen at the Methodist Church in Sedro-Woolley on July 27, 2012. The Community Kitchen provides locals with a free, hot meal Monday-Friday the last full week of each month. Club Members enjoyed preparing and serving dinner and helping with the cleanup efforts. Being involved with these programs gives our Club Members good exposure in their community and helps to show the community that teenagers care too. Club Members have been volunteering monthly and this has been an effective avenue to instill Good Character and Citizenship in our youth. Thanks to the Open Door Community Kitchen for providing our Teens this opportunity to give back.
