The TSA Has Finally Removed All of Its Naked Full-Body Scanners
The TSA has announced that the "naked image" full-body scanners at airports that have caused so much controversy are no more. The scanners have been removed from all of America's airports. Replacing it are machines that show 'generic images' of the human body.

Is Justin Bieber?s driver?s license at risk? Neighbors allege recklessness in Ferrari
Sporty cars and celebrities are a part of California culture, but the Golden State also has things called rules of the road.
Pop star Justin Bieber, with his right foot sometimes on the pedal of a white Ferrari, may be stepping over the line of safe driving, neighbors have alleged.
Let?s just say it doesn?t sound as if the 19-year-old singer has developed very promising habits behind the wheel. And for California drivers, a few infractions noted by police can result in a suspended driver?s license.
The incident that?s put Bieber in the news this week occurred Monday, when he allegedly drove his white Ferrari at freeway speeds in what is a 25 mile-per-hour zone.
Former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson was one of the neighbors who complained. Worried about the safety of his young children within the gated community where he and Bieber own homes, Mr. Johnson got into his Prius and followed Bieber?s Ferrari in an effort to talk about his driving habits. But Bieber scurried into his house.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department received two calls and responded to the location in Calabasas. But they were also turned away.
"His security detail said he declined to talk to us based on the advice of counsel," Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.
"Their eyewitness testimony to our deputies was definitive ? not only the speed, not only the vehicle, but Mr. Bieber was sitting and driving in the driver's side seat," Whitmore said.
The matter will soon head to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office to consider filing misdemeanor charges.
In California, drivers may have licenses suspended or revoked if they acquire a certain number of negative ?points.? Four points within a 12-month period, for example, could result in suspension.
Many rule violations result in one point. ?Reckless driving? is a two-point violation, as is a speed contest or ?exhibition of speed.?
The Memorial Day incident comes after another publicized case of alleged speeding in his community. Another neighbor said that when he complained, Bieber spit on him and threatened him, according to news reports. That incident could also result in a prosecution.
Bieber hasn?t commented this week on his driving behavior. But amid a string of bad publicity, from concert cancellations to alleged drug use, he has offered a blend of apology and self-justification.
"I want to be a good role model, but some people want me to fail,? he told US Weekly magazine this spring. He said he?s ?not perfect.?
Bieber also said "I'm young and I want to have fun. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.? He also said ?mistakes? are ?part of growing up.?

'Warhorse' director brings puppets to Spoleto
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) ? Director Tom Morris uses the phrase "happy accident" to describe the success of his Tony-award-winning play "War Horse," whose central character was a puppet.
"At the time, it seemed like a really crazy experiment to invite in an audience and put basically a nonspeaking puppet in the middle of an epic adventure," said Morris, who is artistic director for Bristol Old Vic, the longest continuously operating theater in the United Kingdom.
Morris now has another puppet-based creation making its American debut at this year's Spoleto Festival USA. The new production of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" features live actors manipulating puppets of everything from birds and masks to disembodied limbs.
As he did with "War Horse," Morris is collaborating with the South African-based Handspring Puppet Company to produce the new version of the traditional Shakespearean play.
The director isn't completely surprised by the appeal puppets have for theatergoers.
"We are all instinctive puppeteers. A bit of us understands that," he told The Associated Press in a recent interview. "If you put a puppet on the stage and the audience wants to hear the story and follow the story, the audience will imagine the puppet is alive."
But that's not necessarily easier for the director, he added.
"The bigger the scale of the imaginative investment, the more you need to take care of it, in a way," Morris said. "There is a risk, because there could come a moment when anyone in the audience could say, 'Hang on. That's not a boat, it's just a bundle of wood,' or 'That's not a horse.'"
Morris worked with Handspring's puppet designers Adrian Kohler and Basil Jones in developing the show, which came together differently than "War Horse."
In "War Horse," the challenge was merely to create a horse that everyone would believe was alive, while in "A Midsummer Night's Dream," the designers need to create objects that reflect abstract concepts such as changes of heart and pretentions.
"It was a case of saying to Adrian, 'Here is this profound text. Show me your response ? show me your sketchbook,'" Morris said. Those sketches led to puppets representing everything from scorpions to Greek masks and birds.
Casting the play was a complex process, the director noted.
"The actors need to be able to deal with text, they need to be able to deal with music and all of them are puppeteers," he said. "You are not only casting the role, you are casting the aptitude for learning physical puppetry."
Spoleto Festival General Director Nigel Redden said the production has exceeded his expectations.
"Puppets and actors work seamlessly together to bring life to the puppets and expand the emotional and physical possibilities of the actors," he said.
Morris, who had not really worked with puppets before "War Horse," expects they will find their way into future Bristol Old Vic productions.
"My understanding of what puppets can do was completely transformed by working with Handspring," he said.
The Spoleto Festival USA opened May 24 and continues through June 9. The festival was founded in Charleston in 1977 by the late composer Gian Carlo Menotti as a companion to his festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, Italy. This year's schedule calls for 160 performances and a final concert on June 9 by the Red Stick Ramblers ? a Cajun, honky-tonk and swing ensemble. The festival's shows are followed by fireworks.

Small plane crashes into Va. apartment building
HERNDON, Va. (AP) ? Virginia State Police say two people were taken to a hospital after a two-seat plane crashed into the living room of a third-story apartment outside Washington.
Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller says the plane crashed into the roof of the apartment building in Herndon, Va., early Friday after it had electrical problems and its engine cut off.
Geller says the men were taking infrared photographs for an aerial photography company. They were headed to Manassas from Philadelphia, but rerouted to Dulles when they ran low on fuel.
Geller says the pilot was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A woman who was in the apartment was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Red Cross is helping nine adults, seven children and pets who had to leave the building.
